OnePlus TV hype train is slowly gathering momentum. While the company revealed the official name and the logo of the upcoming TV few days ago, more recently, one of the firm executives confirmed the screen size and panel type of at least one of the variants. Also confirmed is that it will be an India-first launch and will be coming in September. But there still remains a lot to be revealed and a listing found by @androidtv_rumor account on Twitter is helping users get that information. In one of the latest posts the account has tweeted a photo revealing more specifications of the TV.
The listing shows the OnePlus TV codenamed as ‘Oneplus_Dosa_IN’ along with the RAM capacity, processor details and the resolution. The TV is supposed to be powered by a MediaTek MT5670 processor along with 3GB RAM and Mali G51 GPU. It will run Android Pie of course and will have a FullHD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution as well. We expect the TV to feature 4K resolution panel with FullHD being one of the switching options.
More info on the @OnePlus TV "OnePlus_Dosa_IN" I talked about yesterday.— Android TV Rumors (@androidtv_rumor) August 23, 2019
It's using a Mediatek MT5670 (no info found on it, so far) with a good Mali-G51 MP3 GPU. And of course, #AndroidTV 9.

Just a few days ago, OnePlus revealed that at least one of the TV models will feature a 55-inch QLED panel. It is not for sure which panel is being used by the firm. For now, Samsung is a major player that uses QLED panels in its TVs. It has those panels available in both 4K and 8K resolution, so one can expect the same 4K resolution QLED panel in OnePlus TV as well.
Considering QLED panels are not cheap, OnePlus TV 55-inch model might not be as affordable as expected. Even Xiaomi’s 4K resolution 55-inch TVs cost a minimum of Rs 49,999. We can only wait and see how the company expects to price it in such a competitive market. It’s just a matter of a few weeks.
